About me
Hi friends, I’m Stacey — Certified Health Coach & Yoga Instructor
For years, I struggled silently with hormone imbalances, a missing menstrual cycle (hypothalamic amenorrhea), autoimmune gut issues (celiac disease since my teens), and the constant pressure to “do it all.” I sought answers — only to be met with quick fixes, prescriptions, or the advice to simply "stress less."
Deep down, I knew there had to be a better way.
Through years of self-discovery, healing, and education, I found a more natural, sustainable, and empowering path to wellness. One that supports the whole woman — physically, emotionally, and energetically.
That’s why I created Balance With Friends — a supportive space where women can find clarity, confidence, and community while working toward better gut and hormone health.
My Approach
I combine evidence-based practices with holistic lifestyle coaching to help high-performing, heart-led women:
Rebalance their hormones
Heal their gut and understand their body’s cues
Cultivate nervous system resilience
Find sustainable routines that nourish, not deplete
I believe healing doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You don’t need a 20-step protocol to feel like yourself again. With the right tools and support, you can come home to your body, in a balanced way.

Balance is a concept that can mean many things—mental or emotional stability, or finding the right proportions of elements in life. For me, it’s the feeling of equilibrium, knowing that my time is spent wisely, prioritizing what’s important to me. But balance isn’t static. It’s a fluid process, and there will be times of imbalance — and that’s okay.
What does balance mean to you? Take a moment to reflect on a time when you truly felt balanced. Where were you? What were your habits? Who were you surrounded by? What made that season of your life feel so balanced, and are there any changes you could make now to recreate that feeling? Perhaps, as you think about that time, there are some changes you can make now to bring yourself closer to that feeling of balance again.

Hormones are like the crew behind the scenes, managing almost everything in your body—energy levels, mood, sleep, digestion, and even how you handle stress. They’re the unsung heroes that keep the show running smoothly. When your hormones are balanced, you feel great—focused, calm, and full of energy. But when they’re out of sync? Cue the brain fog, mood swings, fatigue, and those 'WTF' moments that make everything feel off.
If one crew member is a little off, it can throw the show out of sync. The good news is your lifestyle and diet can play a huge role in regulating healthy hormone balance. That’s what I hope to help you figure out here—because once you understand your hormones, you can start working with your body, not against it. Stay tuned through the blog for tips on how to regain balance and feel your best!

Yes!! While your brain often gets all the credit, your gut is working just as hard—if not harder. Often called your second brain, your gut is home to trillions of bacteria that influence everything from digestion to mood. In fact, some experts argue your gut might actually be your first brain, since it produces more serotonin (your happy hormone) than your brain does. How cool is that?
Your gut and brain are in constant communication through the gut-brain axis—a two-way street that lets them send signals back and forth. So, if your gut isn’t happy—think bloating, discomfort, or irregular digestion—chances are your mood, focus, and overall well-being won’t be either.
Supporting your gut with the right foods, habits, and lifestyle changes can create a ripple effect that boosts not just your gut health, but also your mind, mood, and overall well-being.
